As employees of ANDA Present Ltd., we all know the joy of giving and we believe it is important to help those in need. In this spirit, the HR, IT and Finance department organised a charity team builder. The participating colleagues helped 5 different charities and institutions in 5 locations.
At the Animal Police Station 11th District, part of the team was involved in cleaning the Kitten Home and taking care of the kittens. Throughout the day, many of the pets' homes were spotlessly cleaned, and the kittens were happy to receive care and affection.
The Kamaraerdei Home for the Elderly is set in several hectares of woodland, where the older generation can spend their retirement years in fresh air, green surroundings and tranquil conditions. Here, our colleagues have been busy with gardening: weeding, hoeing, digging and planting flowers. The initial rainy weather did not deter the team from their task.
The visit to the Kalocsa Nursery School was also a cheerful one, where our staff were busy redecorating the benches in the courtyard. "We had a great time despite the heat. We were very tired, but we were proud and happy to see the children taking possession of the beautiful new benches," said a participant.
At the Budafok-Tétény Family and Child Welfare Centre's temporary home, colleagues cooked paprika potatoes for 12 families in need. Thanks to the relaxed atmosphere, our colleagues learned many touching stories that made this day truly memorable and meaningful.
Chutkarozi's Refuge is a shelter for injured dogs. Our colleagues assisted the staff by painting fences and walking the puppies.
The teams arrived at each location with valuable donations, but the real gift was the opportunity to help the foundations/institutions with our work.
