While we strive to manage costs in every possible area, and optimise our internal processes for energy efficiency, we realised an extreme increase in utility prices in Europe over the previous months. This increase has outpaced our ability to counterbalance these costs with energy reduction programs in our production departments, since labelling and BE CREATIVE manufacturing are the most energy-intensive processes within our organisation.
As a result, after careful consideration, we must implement an energy surcharge on printed orders to maintain the continuity and reliability of ANDA's production departments. Following a detailed analysis of our electricity and gas cost increase and studying various options, we made an effort to limit this surcharge to the minimum and implement a simple solution.
From the 7th of November 2022, we will apply an increase on our setup charges across all printing technologies for all print orders confirmed from this date.
The rest of our printing price list remains unchanged. The printing calculator on our web-shop will also be updated by the 7th of November, to reflect this change. Consequently, the energy surcharge will not influence the price of blank orders.
We understand you may find this change unpleasant, however, we also hope you will find our decision both justified and reasonable in the light of the dramatic energy price increase businesses – regardless of their industry – are currently suffering.
